The problems we hear, and what BillBook does
Wire, pipe and cement are sold by the metre, the bag or the kilo, and the book can’t keep up.
Units and sub-units with decimal quantities: buy wire by the coil and sell it by the metre.
A contractor asks for a quotation, and it has to be written out again as a bill.
Quotations you print or share as a link, then turn into an invoice in one step.
Credit customers run up balances nobody is watching.
Credit limits that stop a credit sale at the till, plus customer ledgers and pay terms.
Thousands of small items, and nobody knows what is running low.
Low-stock alerts, and rack, row and position on each product so staff can find it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I sell part of a coil or a bag?
Yes. Set a sub-unit, such as metres in a 100 m coil, and sell any quantity, including decimals. Stock goes down in the right unit.
Can I give a contractor a quotation?
Yes. Make a quotation at the POS or on the invoice form, print it or share its link, and convert it to an invoice when the customer agrees.
Can I stop a customer going over their credit limit?
Yes. Set a credit limit on the customer, and the till blocks a credit sale that would take them over it.
