Using BillBook POS for Selling of Services

BillBook allows businesses to sell services (intangible products) just like regular products. No stock management is needed for services like repairing, consulting, education, medical treatment, etc.
How to Add a Service in BillBook
- Go to → Products → Add New Product
- Enter the Service Name (e.g., Computer Repair, Hair Cutting, Accounting).
- Disable Stock Management: Uncheck Manage Stock?
- Enable Service Description (Optional): Check Enable Product Description if you want to add service details when selling.
- Click Save
Selling a Service in BillBook POS
- Go to → Sell → Add Sales (or POS Screen)
- Enter the Service Name.
- If Enable Product Description is ON, a popup will appear to enter additional service details.
- Add payment details and finalize the sale.
Printing Service Descriptions on Invoices
- Go to → Settings → Invoice Settings → Invoice Layout
- Enable Show Sale Description
- Click Update
