Using a barcode scanner in BillBook helps speed up sales, purchases, and inventory management by automatically entering product details.

How to Add a Barcode Scanner in BillBook

Step 1: Plug in the barcode scanner to your computer via USB.

Step 2: If your scanner comes with a driver, install it as per the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 3: Open BillBook POS or any field where you need to scan a barcode.

Step 4: Place the cursor in the input field (e.g., POS product search, purchase screen, stock adjustment).

Step 5: Scan the barcode, and the scanner will automatically input the barcode value into the field.

Now, products can be added instantly without manual entry!
