Viewing Customer or Supplier Ledger
- Go to → Contacts → Supplier/Customer
- Find the customer or supplier you want to check.
- Click on the Actions button.
- Select Ledger to view their transaction history.
Tip: You can select a date range to filter transactions. Use the checkbox filters to show/hide transaction types as needed.
Adding a Discount for Customer/Supplier on Balance Due
If a customer or supplier has a balance due, you can apply a discount on the amount.
Steps to Apply a Discount
- Go to the Customer/Supplier Ledger screen.
- Click on the Add Discount button.
- A popup window will appear.
- Enter the discount details (amount, reason, etc.).
- Click Save.
The discounted amount will be automatically accounted for in their ledger.
Important Notes
- Only the Admin can add a ledger discount — other users cannot.
- Ledger Discount is NOT the same as Sale Discount:
- Ledger Discount is applied to balance dues, not specific invoices.
- Sale Discounts are applied during transactions and reflect in invoices.
- Since Ledger Discounts do not link to invoices, they will not appear in sales records.
