BillBook allows businesses to automate email, SMS, and WhatsApp notifications for new sales, ensuring quick customer communication. 🚀📱📧


🔹 Enabling Auto-Sending of SMS & Email for New Sales #

Before enabling auto-notifications, make sure:
Email SMTP settings are configured (Settings → Business Settings → Email Settings).
SMS API settings are configured (Settings → Business Settings → SMS Settings).

📌 Steps to Enable Auto-Send for SMS & Email: #

Step 1: Go toSettings → Notification Templates
Step 2: Under Customer Notification, find “New Sale” notification.
Step 3: Enable ✅ “Auto Send Email” and/or ✅ “Auto Send SMS”.
Step 4: Click “Save” 💾

📌 Now, whenever a new sale is made, customers will automatically receive an Email or SMS notification!

⚠️ Important Notes: #

  • If Email or SMS settings are incorrect, the sale will not be submitted. Test the settings properly.
  • Email notifications are sent only if the customer has a valid email.
  • SMS notifications are sent only if the customer has a valid phone number.

📲 Enabling Auto-Sending of WhatsApp Notifications for New Sales #

BillBook also supports automated WhatsApp notifications for new sales.

📌 Steps to Enable Auto-Send for WhatsApp: #

Go toSettings → Notification Templates → Customer Notification → New Sale
✅ Enable ✅ “Auto Send WhatsApp Notification”
✅ Click “Save” 💾

📌 Now, customers will receive automatic WhatsApp messages when a new sale is made.
