Types of Service are mainly used in restaurants, retail, and delivery-based businesses to differentiate between Dine-in, Parcel, Courier, 3rd Party Delivery, etc. 🚀🛵

With this feature, you can:
✅ Change product prices based on the type of service (linked to Selling Price Groups).
✅ Add packing charges (fixed or percentage-based).
✅ Include extra details using custom fields.

🔹 Enabling Types of Service #

✅ Go to → Settings → Business Settings → Modules
✅ Check ✅ “Types of Service”
✅ Click Save 💾

📌 Now, the “Types of Service” feature is enabled in BillBook.

➕ Adding a New Type of Service #

✅ Go to → Settings → Types of Service → Add
✅ Enter Name & Description (e.g., Dine-in, Takeaway, Delivery).
✅ Assign Price Groups for Each Location:

• Example: If Takeaway has different pricing, link it to a Takeaway Price Group.
• Select Default Selling Price if no price group is needed.
  ✅ Enter Packing Charge (leave empty if not applicable).
  ✅ Enable Custom Fields (for adding extra service-related details in POS).
  ✅ Click Save 💾

📌 Now, the newly added “Type of Service” will be available in POS and Sales screens!

🛒 Using Type of Service in POS & Sales Screen #

✅ When making a sale in POS or Sales screen:

• Before adding products, select the Type of Service.
• Enter relevant details (packing charges, custom fields, etc.).
• Proceed with the sale as usual.

📌 The selected Type of Service will be applied, including any price changes and additional charges.

🧾 Displaying Type of Service on Invoices & Receipts #

✅ Go to → Settings → Invoice Layout
✅ Enable “Show Type of Service” ✅
✅ Click Save 💾

📌 Now, invoices will display the Type of Service used for each sale!
