BillBook allows businesses to implement Reward Points (Loyalty Program) to encourage repeat purchases and enhance customer retention. 🚀🏆

🔹 Enabling Reward Points in BillBook #

✅ Go to → Settings → Business Settings → Reward Points Settings
✅ Click “Enable Reward Points” ✅
✅ Click Save 💾

📌 Once enabled, customers will start earning and redeeming points based on your settings.

The Reward Points system is divided into:
1️⃣ Earning Points Settings (How customers earn points)
2️⃣ Redeem Points Settings (How customers use points)

🏆 Earning Points Settings #

✅ Reward Points Display Name:

• Customize the label for points (e.g., Reward Points, Coins, Loyalty Credits).
  ✅ Amount Spent for 1 Reward Point:
• Set how much a customer must spend to earn 1 point.
• Example:
  • If set to LKR 10, then spending LKR 1000 = 100 points.
    ✅ Minimum Order Total to Earn Points:
• Set a minimum purchase amount to earn points.
• Example:
  • If set to LKR 100, customers must spend at least LKR 100 to earn points.
    ✅ Maximum Points Per Order:
• Set a limit for how many points can be earned per transaction.
• Leave blank for no restrictions.

📌 On Sale Returns: If a customer returns an item, the earned reward points from that invoice will be automatically deducted.

💳 Redeem Points Settings #

✅ Redeem Amount Per Point:

• Defines the monetary value of 1 point.
• Example:
  • If 1 point = LKR 1, set value as 1.
  • If 2 points = LKR 1, set value as 0.50.

✅ Minimum Order Total to Redeem Points:

• Set a minimum purchase amount to allow point redemption.

✅ Minimum & Maximum Redeem Points Per Order:

• Define how many points can be used per transaction.
• Leave blank for no restrictions.

✅ Reward Points Expiry Period:

• Set an expiry period for unused reward points (Months or Years).
• Expired points will be auto-deducted from customer accounts.

📌 Important: A cron job must be set for expired points to be removed automatically.

🧾 Display Reward Points in Invoice #

✅ Go to → Settings → Invoice Layout
✅ Enable “Show Customer’s Remaining Reward Points” ✅
✅ Click Save 💾

📌 Now, invoices will show the customer’s reward points balance!
