📂 Categorizing Products in BillBook

Organizing products into Categories & Sub-Categories makes it easier to manage inventory, generate reports, and filter products in BillBook. 🏷️📊


➕ Adding Product Categories & Sub-Categories #

Go toProducts → Categories
✅ Click on “Add Category”
✅ Fill in the details:

  • Category Name (e.g., Electronics, Clothing, Groceries)
  • Category Code (HSN Code) (if applicable)

✅ Click “Save” 💾


📂 Adding a Sub-Category #

If a category belongs under a main category, you can add it as a Sub-Category.

✅ Check “Add as Sub Taxonomy”
✅ Select the Parent Category (e.g., Mobiles under Electronics)

📌 Example:

  • Main Category: 📱 Electronics
    • Sub-Category: Mobiles, Laptops, Accessories
  • Main Category: 👕 Clothing
    • Sub-Category: Men’s Wear, Women’s Wear, Kids’ Wear

Now, when adding products, you can assign them to the correct category for better organization and reporting!
