The Opening Balance feature in BillBook helps businesses track outstanding amounts that customers owe or suppliers need to be paid. 📊💰


📌 What is an Opening Balance? #

Opening Balance (to Customers) 💵

  • The total amount customers owe to your business at the start of using BillBook.

Opening Balance (to Suppliers) 🏭

  • The total amount your business owes to suppliers before starting transactions in BillBook.

➕ Adding an Opening Balance #

Go toContacts → Customers/Suppliers
✅ Click on “Add” to create a new contact or “Edit” an existing one.
✅ Click on the “More Information” button.
✅ Find the Opening Balance field.
✅ Enter the amount the customer/supplier owes. 💰
✅ Click “Save” 💾

📌 This amount will now be recorded as the opening balance for that contact!
