🔹 Enabling Auto-Sending of SMS & Email for New Sales #
Before enabling auto-notifications, make sure:
✅ Email SMTP settings are configured (Settings → Business Settings → Email Settings).
✅ SMS API settings are configured (Settings → Business Settings → SMS Settings).
📌 Steps to Enable Auto-Send for SMS & Email: #
✅ Step 1: Go to → Settings → Notification Templates
✅ Step 2: Under Customer Notification, find “New Sale” notification.
✅ Step 3: Enable ✅ “Auto Send Email” and/or ✅ “Auto Send SMS”.
✅ Step 4: Click “Save” 💾
📌 Now, whenever a new sale is made, customers will automatically receive an Email or SMS notification!
⚠️ Important Notes: #
- If Email or SMS settings are incorrect, the sale will not be submitted. Test the settings properly.
- Email notifications are sent only if the customer has a valid email.
- SMS notifications are sent only if the customer has a valid phone number.

BillBook also supports automated WhatsApp notifications for new sales.
📌 Steps to Enable Auto-Send for WhatsApp: #
✅ Go to → Settings → Notification Templates → Customer Notification → New Sale
✅ Enable ✅ “Auto Send WhatsApp Notification”
