🛠️ Accessing the Print Label Screen #
You can print labels from multiple locations in BillBook:
✅ From Purchases:
- Go to → Purchases → List Purchases
- Click on Actions → Labels
- This will add products from the selected purchase to the label print list.
✅ From Products Menu:
- Go to → Products → Print Labels
- Manually add products by entering their name, barcode, or SKU ID.
✅ From Product List:
- Go to → Products → View Products
- Click Actions → Labels
- This will add the selected product to the label print list.
🖨️ Printing Labels Step-by-Step #
✅ 1. Add Products to the Label Print List
- Search by Product Name, Barcode, or SKU ID 🔍
- Adjust the number of labels needed per product.
✅ 2. Select Information to Display
- Check/uncheck details to show on labels:
- Product Name 🏷️
- Selling Price 💰
- Barcode 📊
- Lot Number 🔢
- Expiry Date ⏳ (if enabled)
✅ 3. Choose Barcode Settings
- Select the appropriate sticker layout & barcode type.
- Add custom settings from Settings → Barcode Settings.
✅ 4. Preview & Print
- Click “Preview” to check the label design.
- If everything looks good, click “Print” 🖨️.
📌 Note:
- Set Margins to ‘Default’ in your browser print settings.
- If information is cut off due to sticker size, either hide some details or use the 20 Labels Per Sheet setting.
🚨 Error: Unsupported SKU ID for Selected Barcode Type #
If you get an error:
❌ “Unsupported SKU Id for the Selected Barcode Type”, it means the SKU doesn’t match the barcode type encoding.
✅ Solution:
- Edit the product and change the barcode type to “Code 128”.
- Save the changes and try printing again.
