With Customer Groups, you can categorize customers into Retail, Wholesale, Friends, Colleagues, or any other group that fits your business model. 🏪📊
This feature is especially useful if you want to apply automatic price adjustments for different customer types! 🚀
➕ Adding a Customer Group #
✅ Go to → Contacts → Customer Groups
✅ Click on the “Add” button
✅ A popup will appear asking for:
- Customer Group Name (e.g., Wholesale, Friends, VIP)
- Calculation Percentage (%) (Adjusts selling price)
✅ Click “Save” 💾
💰 How Does the Calculation Percentage Work? #
The Calculation Percentage adjusts the selling price based on the assigned Customer Group.
Example Scenario #
🔹 Product Selling Price = $200
🔹 Customer Group Name = Friends
🔹 Calculation Percentage = -20% (Notice the minus sign)
If you assign a customer (Harry) to the “Friends” group:
✅ When Harry buys Product1, the system automatically applies the discount:
- $200 – 20% = $160 🎉
💡 Note:
- You can also set it to +20% to increase the selling price for certain customer groups.
- The discount won’t show separately on the invoice or POS screen—it is directly adjusted in the price calculation.
📊 Viewing Customer Group Reports #
Want to see which customer group is generating the most sales?
✅ Go to → Reports → Customer Groups Report
